Splish Splash

If you don't know already, my parents have a few grandbabies. Six to be exact. The last 4 are all 1 year apart. There is Jerod age 3, Rebecca age 2, Noah age 1, and Will just born. Noah is the only one born in April, but the other three were born in May. Actually, Rebecca and Will (brother and sister) share a birthday. Anyways, they all came to visit over Father's Day (yes, I know this is late). We put them all in the kiddy pool to play. All except Will of course. Here is the result.

Can you tell that Noah likes the hose?

Some Many Booboos

I think Noah's goal for the summer is to see how many bumps, bruises, and scraps he can get. He has 2 scratches on his face, 2 bruises on his legs, and countless scraps and scratches on his legs, and his is only June. I guess when you play hard your body shows it. Strangely, he hasn't shed too many tears for them. This is what I should expect from a rough and tumble boy.

Playing Outside

At about 6:15, Noah started getting whiny, but it was too early for bed and too late of a nap. So, we went outside. Isn't outside the cure all sometimes. He helped me water the flowerpot. I turned the sprinkler on the flowerbed, but Noah kept moving it. Once the bed was good and wet, I put it in the driveway for him to play in, and boy did he. It was a wonderful end to a great day.

Hard at work pushing that tractor. He will learn to work those pedals one day.

We left Thursday morning and stayed in Abilene. We left Abilene early Friday and drove to Clovis to see Jeremy's family. We had such a good time. There are 3 more posts below containing more adventures from our trip to New Mexico. We didn't return until the next Friday. It was a great to see our family.

Just the 2 of us

We made a trip to Santa Fe for our anniversary alone. It was the first time since Noah was born that I have spend the night away from him. We enjoyed ourselves and not having to worry about anyone's schedule.
