Mowing with Daddy

Jeremy started mowing the backyard while I was cleaning the kitchen. I look over and see Noah banging on the door and saying "Dada!" over and over. So he and I walked out back to watch. We decided to see if he would ride. He loved it. I let him finish the backyard with Daddy. When I tried to take him off, he through a fit. So we put sunblock and a hat on and went back out with Daddy. At one point, he actually feel asleep. You have to understand that this lawnmower is quite loud. When I finally took him off to let Jeremy finish, he didn't argue because he was soooo relaxed. It was so cute.

Big Boy Hair

We finally got Noah a real hair cut. A few months ago, we trimmed above his ears. Auntie Necie said I had to wait until after he turn 1. Well, Saturday we took him to Classic Cuts. He did wonderfully. The clippers didn't scare him, and he didn't even cry. Sorry that I don't have an after picture. You'll see one eventually.Before.

Day at the Park

This was his 1st trip to the park. He enjoyed the swing but hated the slide. Once again, I got injured by skinning my elbow going down the slide. It was a great afternoon.

Washington on the Brazos

This was an impromptu trip to "The Birthplace of Texas". We took a drove to look at some steel buildings between Navasota and Brenham. On the way home, Jeremy mentioned going to Washington on the Brazos. I thought, "Sure!" It was almost time for Noah to have lunch. Maybe (with fingers crossed) there would still be bluebonnets. On such luck, but we got a few good pictures anyways. It was fun until I got bit by fire ants.

Outside Independence Hall.

Not sure what they are looking at.

Yeah!

Yes, that is wood. And yes, I had already feed him.

1st Birthday Party

Noah's 1st Birthday Party was a huge success. Considering all the kiddos there, everything went well. No major meltdowns. They all seemed to have a great time. We really enjoyed seeing everyone, and Noah loves all of his new toys and clothes.
Playing in the yard.
Daddy cooking burgers and dogs.
Ella is not sure what Noah's mommy is doing.
G and Jerod eating a burger in their construction hats.
Max and mommy

It took 3 times to blowout the candles because we had 2 little helpers that wanted to do it themselves. It was quite funny.

He didn't eat any cake. Just smeared blue icing everywhere.
